Volvo to enhance customer experience with its new Volvo Bus Centre in Bangalore

Volvo Buses today inaugurated its Volvo Bus Center in Bangalore – a new after-market concept offering customers a range of services, parts, training and soft solutions under one roof. This is now the 4th Volvo Bus Centre being set up in India – aimed at enhancing product uptime, product upkeep and the overall customer experience.

The new Volvo Bus Center comes with enhanced capability and aims at providing the highest standard of service quality in the industry and a range of service under one roof.

The Volvo Bus Centre in Bangalore is spread across 43000sq.ft. and comprises 16 bays. The offerings will include service, accident repairs, Volvo Genuine parts, driver training, advisory and refurbishment among other support services.

This bus center can undertake various service requirements for 15-20 vehicles per day, for buses operating in and around Bangalore. It is located at KIADB Industrial Area on the Bommasandra- Jigani Link Road.

The Volvo Bus Centers will continue to evolve to include more and more unique services including many a soft offerings too. The objective is to continue to offer the best support as well as enhance in terms of turnaround times, technician capabilities, service and repair quality, and parts availability besides the overall capacity of the center to handle a large number of vehicles.

“After-market support from Volvo was established even before the first Volvo bus was sold in India. Since then we have continued to build capabilities and network that have set standards in the market. Now with the Volvo Bus Center concept we provide customers a far more wholesome and enhanced experience with our support services,” said Manish Sahi, Managing Director, Volvo Buses India.

Volvo Buses has earlier announced its plans to establish five bus centers in all in key locations. Besides Bangalore, Volvo Bus Centers are already operational in Hyderabad, Chennai and Delhi. The 5th bus center will be coming up near Mumbai. With all the five bus centers in place, the company aims to cater to 80 per cent of Volvo buses operating in the country.

A key aspect of the Volvo Buses aftermarket support network are the personnel trained to carry out high quality of service, besides providing advisory to customers at all times.
